Clothes, everywhere!!
It has happened. I have so called "transfered my addiction" from food onto clothes. Last night I was looking in my closet and it dawned on me that I have so many clothes that I can't remember what exactly I have. Not only can I not remember what I have, but I have clothing spread out through out the entire bedroom. It almost seems like I am running a clothing department store out of my bedroom.
Needless to say, I can stop buying clothes for a while. It is still an amazing feeling to be able to put on a pair of jeans that are a size 32. It is also amazing that I can fit into a size Medium shirt. What is the best thing of all though??? The prices. I can buy 10 shirts for the price of one shirt before surgery.
I was at target recently looking at Sweaters for Winter. I noticed that I still want to reach for the XXL, or XXXL sizes. I quickly remember that I do not need those sizes and I retreat to the Mediums and Larges, also the cheaper prices.
I am not serious about "transfering my addiction". I was sort of making a joke on Oprah's expense. I just found it funny that I had so many clothes. I am not going broke, I am not shopping 24 hours a day. For those of us who had the surgery understand what it is like to get are hands on clothes that look nice and fit decent.
